Sandie Wollasch - Better (2022) Hi Res

Musically, the new album by the De Phazz guest singer moves between jazz and singer/songwriter pop. A groovy foundation, sometimes a bass solo or a syncopated piano: everything sounds very relaxed, wonderful understatement. Especially with the title song Better, Joni Mitchell and Rickie Lee Jones look around the corner. The titles were created in Karlsruhe's Weststadt in Sandie Wollasch's living room - on her son's children's guitar. As always, Sandie wrote the lyrics together with her friend Inga Brock. Your fellow musicians Klaus Wagenleiter (piano), Guido Jöris (drums) and Decebal Badila (bass) play in the legendary rhythm section of the SWR Bigband. The three top-class musicians arranged the new songs.
