This album is the fruit of the inspiration that the accordion and bandoneon inspired in composers of the young generation associated with the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music: Rafał Janiaku, Nikola Kołodziejczyk and Tomasz Opałka. The album includes compositions commissioned and premiered by the outstanding accordionist : Rafał Grząka as part of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage program "Collections : Composing Commissions". The soloist is accompanied by the charismatic Chopin University Chamber Orchestra conducted by Janiak, and in Kołodziejczyk's concert he is accompanied by the incomparable Paweł Gusnar on alto saxophone.

The selected repertoire explores the richness of formal and sound solutions (also in the area of dialogue between solo instruments and the orchestra), as well as harmonics, rhythmic and expressive solutions. Various idioms intertwine in it: South American (strongly inspired by tango) and European (Janiak), jazz (Kołodziejczyk), vitalist (Opałka). A special opportunity to present the craftsmanship of soloists is given by virtuoso cadences. "From the pulsating sources of new music flow : like streams : compositions with the use of the accordion, drawing inspiration from different eras and different sides. Sometimes they merge, and sometimes they flow separately, but together they create a rich and inspiring system of mutual connections and original sounds" (Marta Dziewanowska :Pachowska).
