Antonio Zambrini, Jesper Bodilsen, Martin Maretti Andersen - Incontro (2019)

Second disc for this trio starring the Italian pianist Antonio Zambrini, and the superb Danish rhythmic section including Martin Maretti Andersen and Jesper Bodilsen. Their debut album, "Pinocchio e altri racconti ", published by Abeat 2019, and an intense concert activity has allowed them to collect an excellent response from the public and critics in many countries, and to consolidate their undeniable strength and expressive power. All that certainly contributed to mark them as one of the most original and intriguing European realities of the current scene. All songs come from various authors and musical universes. Free, light and melodic approach by the trio elements is what makes this music linear and coherent. The trio also stands out for its particular stylistic freshness. “Incontro” represent a wonderful example of how the European reality is able to offer excellent projects today.
