Chilli Willi & The Red Hot Peppers - I'll Be Home (1996)

The album was compiled by former Willi’s bass-man Paul Riley and released as the second album on Proper Records in 1996. The tracks were all previously unreleased versions of recordings representing the best of the five-piece band. The notes on the back of the original release told it like it was:‍

Never knowingly undergigged, never knowingly oversold, hear for the first time their original recordings (all previously unreleased) and marvel at their antics, as it is described in the weighty booklet. A labour of love,and all this for the price of a few pints and a packet of fags.
