Natalie Hemby - Puxico (2017)

For nearly a decade, Natalie Hemby has been an in-demand songwriter on Music Row, co-writing hits like Miranda Lambert's "White Liar" and "Automatic" and Little Big Town's "Pontoon." Now, she's stepping into her own spotlight.

On Friday, the Nashville native will release her debut solo album, "Puxico,"; that night, she'll play a sold-out show at 3rd and Lindsley. The record, full of rootsy, sepia-toned gems like "This Town Still Talks About You" and "I'll Remember How You Loved Me," was inspired by her grandfather, George Hemby, who hails from the tiny town of Puxico, Missouri.
