Dora Moroni - Dora Moroni in... (1978)

Born in Ravenna, she took part, in 1974, in the local musical contest "Rally Canoro" and got to know Corrado, who asked her to sing with him on the first ever series in 1976-77 of tv show Domenica In…. She stole the show from Corrado (who is also co-author of 2 of her songs as well as creating the programme). Here she developed the role, for the first time, of co-host, presenting, performing, singing and dancing. At that time too Miss Moroni appeared in a photo story and a tv soap.In the same year she released her second single called Soli and took part in the San Remo Festival of 1978 singing her hit Ora (written by Donatella Rettore), coming twelfth. She also sang the theme tune for the programme "Che facciamo stasera?" and released her first LP called Dora Moroni In…, at that time being the most loved female personality on Italian tv and she looked set to be a rising star.In the summer of the same year she appeared in the touring show Rally Canoro, alongside Corrado again. In 2006 she went back on Domenica In … with her own musical slot on the exact thirtieth anniversary of the first broadcast and 28 years after her last appearance as co-host, thanks to the initiative of Mara Venier. On 29 April 2009 she guested for Barbara D’Urso on the programme Pomeriggio Cinque on tv channel Canale 5. On 10 September 2010 she was again a guest of Barbara D’Urso on Pomeriggio Cinque on Canale 5 and on 18 March 2011 Dora was a guest on "La vita in diretta", singing with Christian. On 25 May 2011 she guested for Federico Panicucci on Canale 5’s Mattino Cinque.
