"Lie, Cheat And Steal" is a rocking blues album that takes off right from the opening track like a 747 out of LAX with Stedman's driving electric guitar. The cd has good diversity with the San Diego trio's added horn section on catchy swing songs "Do What Ya Say" and the title track. From mid point on you start to hear a strong S.R.V influence and the album closes with "The Fat Tones" raising the roof on "Comin' Home", more indicative of their three piece live shows. If your type of blues is Thorogood, Kenny Wayne, S.R.V. with a lil' bit of rockin' swing Brian Setzer, this one's your baby. (Avalon Don)
