Let's get right to the point, to change. What do you want from a real rock band? Little one: the style. Small two: the sound. Little three: songs. No matter the order from elsewhere. All the rest, the friends, it's literature, wind in the sails, piss-cold and company, just to hang out a little longer at the bar. Meanwhile, on stage, Dragon Rapide sends wood, as they say. With the tension, the electrifying voltage, the extreme voltage born of trio, friction, nudity. At three, the fault is forbidden, the toxic downtime, the decline of irrecoverable regime.

So they understood, the Sylvain (guitar / voice), Jimmy (bass / vocals) and POG (drums). They understood it because they learned it, to sweat blood and water, and even worse, on all (all!) The possible scenes, from the most improbable to the most prestigious. Just a little tighter, that's all. In Clermont-Ferrand, where this kind of lesson quickly returns to the noggin, Dragon Rapide grew up, here and there, in a cellar happily, but also under the sun, when the most undressed pop quickly turns bright red colors, even a light coat. The Dragon has sucked at one stroke the substantive marrow, the one that still causes beautiful erections, to write a logical and unstoppable suite to the great works of Nada Surf, Teenage Fan Club, Travis and other heroes of independent rock of the end of the century last, when we could write with guitars and waddle on a locomotive rhythm. The alloy is subtle, nevertheless. Because we leave here a few couplets cut to the line, we show beautiful choruses, we let ourselves go, a little drunk, on the thin line between school pop and big punk rasp, something quite brutal, say- the, and light enough at the same time, go understand ... The recipe seems tried, it just has to make it sound right, and the Dragon, while being Fast, is elegant, to the end of the claws.

Even better than a rabbit's paw, to bring good luck to the 13 titles of See The Big Picture, first album of the trio Clermontois entirely hand-made in Arvne land, and waited for early 2018. Take to the artwork, the mix in mastering, it is an understatement that the school of the six-three always knows how to speak the powder. At the heart of the story, an incursion among the Built to Spill, whose love of independence and the unshakeable taste of freedom are not so much to prove, is not it. And wonderfully, the art of American writing comes right in this collection of strong and solidly constructed titles, where the slightest bit of fat gives way to a dry and impeccable skeleton, immediate rock and clown that just speaks of music. Good music.
