Admiral Freebee - Don't Follow Me, I'm Lost (2020) Hi-Res

Don't Follow Me, I'm Lost is the title of Admiral Freebee's EP: four recently released tracks are unleashed on the listener, led by the new, catchy single Not In It 4 Love, with beautiful artwork by Rinus van de Velde.

Anyone who has been paying attention in recent months already knew it: Admiral Freebee is back. But not as we know him. An annoying arm injury – the GP was formal: rocked too hard – forced Tom Van Laere to temporarily hang up his guitar. So he threw himself into ergonomically responsible keyboards, drum computers and all kinds of electronics and he recorded the demos for Don't Follow, Me I'm Lost with his smartphone. After which the admiral summoned no less than two different line-ups to the studio, with good people like Jasper Maekelberg (Faces On TV), Alan Gevaert (dEUS), Joris Caluwaerts (STUFF.) and Mario Goossens (Triggerfinger). Layer after layer they shaped the tracks, creating an intriguing new sound. From the cinematic gem No Ordinary Moments, it moves to a vintage Freebee chorus in On A Day Like This One. The classic melody of The Wonder of Life floats on a pensive bass line that leads the listener to the wonderful final chorus, and This Dream of You swings the electronic pan in its own way.
