« Thank you very much ladies and gentlemen, it’s so nice to be back at Royal Albert Hall… what a dump ! » E détend l’atmosphère dès les premiers instants du concert, et le public de la scène mythique est fier de recevoir Eels, qui commence par un piano presque trop simple (qui se poursuivra d’ailleurs jusqu’au bout de l’album), amenant l’auditeur à se concentrer plutôt sur la voix de E et sur la sérénité qui règne en ce Londres apaisé. La folk pop des Américains reprend When You Wish Upon A Star du Disney Pinocchio, et poursuit son humour décapant en annonçant la suite du concert : « Voilà une autre chanson… ne vous inquiétez pas, c’est encore une chanson nulle ». Eels sait y faire, livre un concert proche de son public et toujours à la hauteur musicalement.
