This is simply one of the best SACD I ever heard (I use it for demonstrating the vertues of SACD). The musician's performance is absolutely awesome and the engineers have done an incredible work. I cannot praise this recording enough. I'm not really a fan of mid 20th century works but the fantasy for cello and orchestra is really outstanding, easily comparable with other, older well known cello masterpieces. The other tracks are equally well played and recorded but maybe less easy to listen to (at least for me). Definitely a must have record.
