The Hello Darlins - Go By Feel (2021)

The Hello Darlins is a new Canadian supergroup founded by singer/producer Candace Lacina and keyboardist/producer Mike Little. Already tried and tested independently of each other, they got to know each other in 2010 during a recording session and six years later the idea for The Hello Darlins was born. Their debut album Go By Feel was largely recorded in their own studio in Calgary. Also partly in Studio D by band member and co-producer Murray Pulver (Crash Test Dummies, The Bros. Landreth) and in Winnipeg's Stereobus. The songs are somewhere on the cutting edge of country, gospel and blues. A preview of the album was released a year ago in the form of the single Still Waters, on which Lacina sings a beautiful duet with Matt Andersen. Another big name, Joey Landreth, can be heard on Aberdeen. Go By Feel shows a band that is clearly an asset to the Americana genre. By the way, during live performances, the composition of the band can vary from five to nine people.
