Eljazz Big Band was founded in 1999 by the jazzman, drummer, bandleader and animator of musical life, Józef Eliasz. The orchestra, winner of national and international competitions, has taken part in many prestigious concerts and festivals (including Probaltica, Bydgoszcz Jazz Festival, Pomeranian Jazz Autumn, European Jazz Meetings, Złota Tarka). The elegance of interpretation and stylistic versatility mean that he has also performed in Łazienki Królewskie, Wilanów Palace and concert halls usually oriented towards classical music.

The big band willingly invites the giants of the Polish swinging scene to join its ranks, both as soloists and by incorporating them into the ranks of the orchestra. Hence the presence of Krzysztof Herdzin, Henryk Miśkiewicz or Maciej Sikała in the line-up is not surprising. This orchestra is also a phenomenon on a national scale, because for eleven years it has been performing every Thursday at the home club in Bydgoszcz, Eljazz.

"In Chopin's Rhythm" is her most important artistic achievement, the final sound was influenced by the organizers of individual themes. This role was almost democratically shared by Herdzin, Jan Ptaszyn Wróblewski, Henryk Miśkiewicz and the legend of the Bydgoszcz music scene - Bogdan Ciesielski. Chopin's pearls written for a big band and a symphony orchestra show the artistry and beauty of the great composer, but also the pietism and outstanding skills of the band members.

The album is an echo of the annual celebration of the bicentenary of the birth of Fryderyk Chopin, and among the occasional recordings, a particularly beautiful album. I do not want to distinguish anyone for solos or to judge the skill of instrumentation, because the album is a coherent whole, a Chopin story in which our master's work found outstanding interpreters in the person of Polish jazzmen. The album was released by almost unrivaled tycoon in the world of classic phrases.
