Tinh Dan / Heaven’s Gourd version 2021 is an entirely unexpected and fated musical meeting between Ngo Hong Quang and Dan Do group. After a journey of an almost 10 years of passion, seeking, researching and effortful creation, today, for the first time, Dan Tinh officially has the chance to meet such the natural, original and acoustic sounds of Dan Do, Thiu Flute, Lang Drum and Chum Drum, a bunch of new instruments created by Dan Do artists; Nguyen Duc Minh, Dinh Anh Tuan, Nguyen Quang Su. By chance, this freestyle of musical exchange takes us to such a clean and still lake surrounded by cloudy mountains, singing birds and peaceful villages, which is like, this music meant to be born here for these mountainous landscapes and our musical harmonies echoing especially for those local people who are living here as well.

created as a special thank to Dan Tinh (Gourd Lute from Tay ethic minority group) and the original musical culture of Tay people from the mountainous northern areas of Vietnam.
