Twin Peaks - Wild Onion (2014)

The time has come to peel back the layers of this Wild Onion! That’s right, the new record from Chicago youth brigade Twin Peaks is now available to hear at Pitchfork Advance. Coming off a talk-of-the-town level performance at the Pitchfork Music Festival and inventing new ways of rocking out in a wheelchair, the boys are excited to share their latest recorded endeavor, which will see release on August 5th via Grand Jury. It is a fully formed artistic statement by the talented foursome, who we witness grow as young men and songwriters before our eyes. It’s an album with blitzkrieg rockers and restrained, soulful croons. Growing up doesn’t mean losing a bit of the band’s anarchic nature, though, as witnessed throughout this revelatory sophomore effort. Listen up and become a believer.
