Dubsknit & PZG - WE ROB RAVE 6 (2021)

It is the 6th 'WE ROB RAVE' album to see the light of sun. Not even Pzg or Dubsknit themselves foresaw this series to go that long. Full of breakbeats, distortion, melodies and nostalgia, this album provides all the necessary punches that will help You get through the day.

Starting up with a Paul Elstak-esque piano infused 'IN ANOTHER WORLD WE ARE DANCING TOGETHER', We are transported to a world where the club dancing never stopped, and the narstie bass keeps it rolling in. After the stomping kicks and drums we move on to the second track with a classic trance sample, but most importantly, inspired by the lovely scene in 'Human Traffic' motion picture. Its 90s trance versus jungle. Don't forget to put your hands up in the air on the breakdown. Switching it up a little bit, 'SHADES' with Lux Familiar brings a chillout vibe to the album. Classy footwork snares and 808's with a touch of jungly drums and chicago sound. Slightly of course, we are moving towards futuristic japanese cityscape with 'CYBERNETIC REACTION FEATURE'. Booming drop and hard amen break is what the next track is all about. 'NO NUMBER' is a floor-smasher, but don't forget the piano and r'n'b vocals in this one. Going back to anime themed WE ROB RAVE tracks, soulful piano that was featured in the classic anime series, will bring You back to that mecha nostalgia You dreamed of few days ago. There is no reason with 'FUNKY BOI', this track just KICKS. KICKS and SLAMS. Funkiness of You will definitely move your body organs while listening to this song. 'I only smoke weed when I need to' tells the most known MC in trance music, and the music follows, with 'WE COME 69'. 'HARD STREET SHIT' is a collaboration with almighty Samurai Breaks. No kicks were speared, no breaks were salvaged. Only beats, energy and rave.
You don't have to be a gabberhead to listen to 'GABBERMENTASM' and enjoy it. There is a lot to uncover in the weirdest gabber footwork mishmash track of 2021. 11th track on the album 'SUNSHINE JUNGLIST' will be a joyride for either junglists, or german music television fans, but it's all coming together in one, solid, dance track. 'NOSTALGIA' is a letter to the past, but it's hard kicks will not let You forget that You are in the present.
The most romantic track on the album, 'EXIT', is a drum and bass influenced journey through
what relationship and jealousy, and few things You can figure out Yourself. No party is a good party without 4x4 old school bass extravaganza. And that's what the Warsaw version of 'STABBINGTON' is. Raw, Bassy, straight up kicker. If You forgot what RAVE music is all about, 'RAVERS NATURE' will bring You right back on the proper way. After all the mashin' n smashin' it is time to slow down a bit, and that's where 'SUNSHINE' comes in. Its what old school was about, what dancing to hardcore breaks at 05:00 pm at a smoky club ment to people. When the dust is settled, smoke is gone, it's time to end the party. Go back to Your home, and figure out what will happen on Sunday/Monday. 'FINEST DAY' is that feeling. It is a little bit fear, little bit paranoia, little bit comfort. Just remember, the weekend will always come back, and You can always have a Fine Day. The story of the album ends here, but not the music, on the credits roll we still have one more track, and it's a banger. From the Happy Hardcore specialist Alex Tune, 'IN ANOTHER WORLD WE ARE DANCING TOGETHER' gets a hardcore revamp with an extra booty donkness.
