Buddy de Franco - Buddy De Franco & The Oscar Peterson Quartet (Bonus Track Version) (2016)

Recorded in 1954, this record featured the brilliant clarinetist Buddy De Franco with the Oscar Peterson Quartet playing a set of standards. De Franco and Peterson produce plenty of fireworks with the majority of the numbers being taken up-tempo. The final selection, a very long and extremely uptempo version of Lullaby in Rhythm, has the same five musicians plus trombonist Bill Harris, tenor saxophonist Flip Phillips, and both Roy Eldridge and Dizzy Gillespie on trumpets.
