In response to requests put here by the American group Doctor Feelgood (not to be confused with the British band of the same name), this group was formed in Massachusetts in the late 60's with members of other small local bands. They released a unique and rare album in 1971, being undone shortly after.
The album Something to Take Up Time features 10 tracks, based on classic progressive rock with jazz and blues influences, various flute solos, sax and guitar and other more acoustic guitar and percussion passages marking the instrumental, reminding bands like Jethro Tull and Gravy Train. The vocal of Dick Winters also deserves prominence, appearing in several songs. Highlight for "Smoke Dream", "Something to Take Up Time" and the blues "5 x RV.M." and "Junk".
Pearl recommended for progressive rock fans, blues and jazz rock.
