Sven Grünberg (born November 24, 1956, Tallinn) is an Estonian composer and synthesizer of progressive rock best known for his electronic and meditation works involving the concepts of Tibetan Buddhism. He has collaborated with film director Olav Neuland and written the soundtrack for most of his films.

In the 1970s Grünberg was the leader of the progressive rock band Mess, which was founded by him in January 1974 together with Härmo Härm. Despite the band's years of existence and many live performances, Mess did not release a single studio album because of the contradictions of his musical style with Soviet ideology; Only in 1996 did Grünberg release a compilation of several recordings and a complete remastered album in 2004.
Grünberg is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Estonian Institute of Buddhism.

The roots of Sven Grünberg's music can be found in Tibetan Buddhism. The creative work of the Estonian composer and multi-instrumentalist combines art, meditation and healing, forming a new category: energy-music. Electronic sounds and church organ, Asian instruments and styles create dynamic electric waves and mystical spaces. This outstanding musical recording is the result of several decades of investigation and study of the mysterious prana. The Life Force of the nature of symphonic sounds: energetic music. A powerful musical expression, inspired by the elemental forces of nature. The vital energy (prana-) so vital that flows through each breath, so does the creative power of the intuition of movement through the dynamic waves, and tone colors of Grünberg compositions refreshing, vitalizing, expanding. The ten pieces of the Prana symphony were chosen from the recordings of the albums Hingus (1981) and OM (1988).
