Tilo Bertholo - Pitakpi (2021)

Major of the 2014 class of the IMEP (International Music Educator of Paris) and a graduate of the Paris Higher Music Center, Xavier Belin is a Martinican pianist, arranger and composer. His encounters with accomplished musicians such as Yaron Hermann, Bojan Z or Rick Margitza, or his experience of the stage at festivals and large sales such as the Biguine Jazz Festival, the Festival "Jazz in moulin à vent" or the Arts Club of Washington, make him a promising performer. In 2018, he set up his first project "Pitakpi" with which he has already won the jury prize and the public prize for the prestigious "Golden European Jazz trophy 2019". Xavier Belin has already won over a large audience with his mixed piano playing and his compositions overflowing with ideas.
