Psychic Lemon - Live At The Smokehouse (2019)

The album was recorded on 10th August 2018 at The Smokehouse, Ipswich. The first side, labelled The Past, comprises instrumental tracks from the band’s most recent album, Frequency Rhythm Distortion Delay. The second side, labelled The Future, is made up of two unreleased tracks, Jonny Marvel at the Milky Way and White Light.

The track Jonny Marvel at the Milky Way is a paean to the late Jonny Marvel, who could be considered Psychic Lemon’s greatest fan: a good friend of the band, Jonny was the MC at the band’s first gig, DJ’d at a number of subsequent gigs, and housed the Psychic Studio in his garden. He is woven into the fabric of the Psychic Lemon story.
