Helluvah - Lonely Riots (2020)

Helluvah is the project of Camille W. who grew up listening to 90's Britpop and formed her first band, Fog, back in 1999 in Nice.Back in Paris, she recorded a first demo, "Lost in progress", at the end of 2005, before getting down to work on her first album with folk and electro accents, "Emotion pills", at the end of 2006, produced by BobX. The album will be released in 2008 by Blog Up Musique / Pias, followed in 2011 by "As we move silently" (Le Label Etrange / COD&S) much more rock, also produced by BobX, and finally by Long Distance Runners, a post-punk firework softened by unstoppable melodies, released in 2015 by Dead Bees Records. The new album, "Lonely Riots", addresses the theme of the break-up of love, the one that makes you fly apart, jump into the void, that makes you want to burn everything, despair, rage, excesses.... but that you live alone, inside yourself. Like riots, but alone.
