EDGE started in the Fall of 1973 in Larchmont, New York. Richard Nixon was President . . .
Bob Windbiel (guitar), Paul Adamy (bass) and Mark Macksoud (drums) were in Mamaroneck High School and had been playing together for a number of years.
News spread about the young keyboard “phenom” Lee Feldman (then in 8th grade). They decided to ask him to join the band.
46 years later EDGE is releasing their first album: Keep Me Around.
Bob and Lee both live in upper New York City. They get together frequently and “share notes” on the music they are working on.
They decided to bring the new material to their old bandmates, Paul and Mark.
Keep Me Around alternates between Bob’s eclectic instrumental compositions and Lee’s idiosyncratic songs. It reflects the cohesion and camaraderie that exists among these four friends and musicians.
