Jose Sanchez - Flamentropía (2020) Hi-Res

Guitarist and virtuoso theorist strongly imbued with his original culture, flamenco, José Sanchez multiplies his encounters and never ceases to explore the areas of contact between flamenco, classical music, traditional music and contemporary trends. Holder since 2012 of the State Diploma of teacher of traditional music specializing in flamenco, he works in the Institutes of Higher Music Education in Bordeaux and Toulouse. At the same time, he is musical director and teacher at La Fábrica Flamenca - Centro Flamenco De Toulouse® since 2006. He also gives lectures on flamenco.

Born in 1985, son of a musician, he started playing flamenco guitar at 6 years old. José first trained in France with various guitarists and immersed himself in the world of Gypsy music and culture. Then he obtained the "Poitou-Charentes Young Talent Grant" in order to study for two years in Granada with Emilio Maya (a reference in modern flamenco guitar).
