Maxi Menot is a German composer and music producer. Her music reflects her extensive training as an orchestral musician, her electronic music programming skills, her multi- instrumental expertise and her love of Nordic sound. Maxi divides her time working together with publishers, writing and producing music for theatre and scoring films. She has written and produced songs and instrumental music for Universal Production Music, Warner/ Chappell, BMG or Sonoton. Her recent releases were the Indie Pop Albums „Handcrafted Music“ and „Indie Pop“ as well as the chamber music album „Four seasons“. She has written music for theatre at Staatstheater Braunschweig and Saarbrücken. Her latest production „Zurück in die Zukunft, Dirty Dancing“ is having its premiere at 16th of November. She worked for the Saarbrücker Tatort and the movie Mein Blind Date mit dem Leben. Recently she scored to short movie „Isabels Schatz“. Maxi has performed as a clarinettist at several major concert houses including Gewandhaus Leipzig, Alte Oper Frankfurt, Berliner Philharmonie, Laeiszhalle Hamburg, Festspielhaus Baden- Baden. She is a member of AWFC and WIFT. She received several scholarships, such as „Live music now“ from the Yehudi- Menuhin Organization. She is a scholar of the V.U.T. program Woman in music industries. Maxi holds a diploma degree in classical music from Hochschule für Musik Frankfurt a.M. and both studied Producing/Composing at Popakademie Mannheim.
