On his return from the United States in February 1947, Django Reinhardt decided to electrify his guitar. Surrounded by a handful of faithful, including clarinetist Hubert Rostaing (then at the height of his art), the brilliant gypsy revisits his greatest themes, transfigured by electricity. A unique sound expressionism, which foreshadows the future of the guitar 20 years in advance.
