The band Novecento was formed in 1984 and released the track "Movin' on" which became number one in Italy. In the same year the group won the “revelation of the year” award.

Over the years the band has produced and worked with many international stars such as Sting, Billy Preston, Randy Crawford, Dominic Miller and Billy Cobham to name just a few. They signed with ZTT (Trevor Horn’s label) for the European market and are distributed in America under the Atlantic label. In 2001 they wrote and produced the album by Billy Cobham (celebrated drummer and icon of the seventies) published by 24 Sony affiliates throughout the world.
