Based on the horizontal sound of a chordless quartet, the band plays Jakob Roland's compositions, which are inspired by everything from African music, Nordic melancholy and good old-fashioned jazz. The musicians are some of the most sought after on the Copenhagen jazz scene, and have all their feet firmly planted in the jazz tradition, but are also some of the most adventurous improvisers we have.
