Evergreen Blueshoes - The Ballad of Evergreen Blueshoes (Korean Remastered) (1969/2016)

A psychedelic band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1967 and debuted at Topanga Canyon. They were called The Beatles of Topang Canyon, although their music had nothing to do with The Beatles, but the Evergreen Blueshoes were the club’s greatest success. After nine months they played at the “Corral Club” and then at the small studio “Аmos Records” in 1969 they recorded several singles and their only album “The Ballad Of Evergreen Blueshoes”. A mixture of folk rock, blues and a psycho with a touch of freakiness, but the presence of a keyboard player at times gives the sound a psycho-progue tone. The team could become a big phenomenon on the underground stage of Los Angeles, but broke up due to internal disagreements. After the breakup, each of the musicians went his own way. Skip Battin subsequently played in “The Byrds”, “The New Riders Of The Purple Sage” and “The Flying Burrito Brothers”. Drummer Chet McCracken later joined the Doobie Brothers. The rest became session musicians.
