Now 10 years young, Light Sounds Dark return with a trippy new batch of as-yet-mostly-unidentified gems from between and behind the eyes of 20th century experimental music.

Fcuk micro-dosing: this is proper dosing; two feet first and in up over the gills. Again they provide no handrails in the form of artist or track title credits, and, aside from one piece identified as Alvin Lucier/Morton Feldman’s dreamy ‘Christian Wolff in Cambridge’, the spotters will have a field day with this one.

On side A they sequence haunting turns of choral drift, AFXian prepared piano/gamelan tones and a tract of slithering dark ambient alongside the aforementioned Lucier/Feldman piece, while the B-side slips further down the rabbit-hole into dizzy, pastoral jazz-fusion psychedelia and torn-metal noise torsion.

Pedants should just sit on their hands or something while everyone else trips out.
