Little Mack Simmons is synonym to many years of great blues, and being and living at the service of music. This man played and recorded with just about every blues star: Willie Dixon, Sunnyland Slim, Eddie Clearwater, Willie Mabon, Hubert Sumlin and many others. Through out his career he had high peaks of popularity, once even having his own club and recording studio. From his popularity he helped many others, for generosity was one of his virtues. He recorded for labels like C.J., Bea & Baby, Black & Blue, St. George, Wolf and Electro-Fi.

When he met with Adrián Flores and Mauro Diana in Chicago, he invited them to sit in, and introduced them to the public as his own Argentinian band. He also mentioned to Adrián that he was willing to go back to Argentina again. Little Mack had been here first in December 1998, when he did one of the most touching shows we have ever seen in Buenos Aires. Since we knew of his poor health, we knew it was going to be hard for him but he finally made it, doing what was then his last tour.

Due to airline problems, he was one day late and what was suppposed to be two shows was only one. He got here on a Saturday morning, after flying all night. He played that same Saturday night. Sunday morning, and after a few hours of sleep, we all went to the studio where these recordings were made. And this wonderful record is the final product. /Excerpt from the liner notes by Ricardo Muños

Personnel: Little Mack Simmons (harmonica, vocals); Omar Itcovici, Roberto Porzio (guitar); Mauro "Easy Baby" Diana (bass); Adrián Flores (drums); Lorenzo Thompson (vocals tracks 9, 14).
