Classic BRIT Award winner and Grammy nominated saxophonist, Amy Dickson, releases her stunning new album:

A Summer Place

The essential sounds of summer with classic themes from the ‘60s

Amy Dickson has been credited as leading a revival of the classical saxophone. She was the first Australian performer to win a Classic Brit Award. Her track ‘Skylark’ (Dusk and Dawn) received a 2014 Grammy nomination for Best Instrumental Arrangement.

‘A Summer Place’ captures the unique elegance and sophistication of the magical 60s era, recently rekindled by the phenomenal success of the Mad Men series.

Celebrating the great composers and arrangers of this uniquely influential era, with a nod to 60s icons such as Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly and Jackie Onassis.

Five time Grammy-nominated composer, arranger and conductor Chris Walden wrote the arrangements for ‘A Summer Place’ and it was produced by twice Grammy-nominated record producer James McMillan.
