The American band Gov't Mule (pronounce: Government Mule) makes southern rock with the spirit of the seventies. Not surprising, because frontman Warren Haynes played for years in the legendary Allman Brothers Band. Gov't Mule doesn't look a minute more or less, not on record and certainly not live. Long-drawn jams are even the trademark of the band, as is their musical versatility, because blues, soul and funk are also part of their style palette. In 2017, Mule's most recent record Revolution Come… Revolution Go, (read the review here) the eleventh in their twenty-four year career!
