She combines honest, sometimes hilarious, and always heartfelt lyrics with delicate acoustic guitars. Moreover, her voice is simply transfixing with its lithe delivery and soulful core. About the record, she says, “This album has been 6 years in the making. Many of those years were filled with hopelessness, confusion, second guessing and taking the roundabout way to discovering who I am and what I want to say as an artist. Flash forward to today and I am standing in awe, with tears in my eyes because I finally get to say that I’m releasing an album! And not just any album, but an album I have daydreamed about since I was a little girl. An album I got to make with Greg Wells (my dream producer) and with Warner Brothers Records (best label ever) and it’s filled with songs that I am so unbelievably proud of and I have been dying to share with the world for god knows how long.
