Born and raised in Toronto, Barber has made her home in Halifax, Nova Scotia, for several years now, touring regularly, often with her brother, fellow Canadian pop-folkster Matthew Barber. She has released two impressive EPs, 2002's A Note to Follow So and 2004's Oh Heart, and a full-length album, 2007's masterful For All Time, which was produced by multi-instrumentalist Les Cooper
