Mulgrew Miller on piano, Steve Turre on trombone, Stafford James on bass and Tony Reedus on drums took part in this grandiose concert in Hamburg. Woody Shaw's music, documented here in a concert concentration, is a great, important legacy in contemporary jazz, and this legacy is now enriched by a sparkling facet!
