He was born in Italy on July 16, 1936. He began his musical studies at six years of age. He studied at the Guisseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan where he learned harmony, composition, history of music and piano. He continued his studies with Master Luigi O. Anzaghi, from whom he learned the management of the Chromatic System Accordion. At the age of 16 he already specialized for 4 consecutive years in eleven National and International competitions, obtaining first place in ten and a second place in the Stradella International Competition; during this period he was winner for two consecutive years of the Italian National Championship and Runner-up in the Copenhagen World Championship. In 1956 he left Italy, as Director of the "I Gondolieri" orchestra to perform in Havana, Cuba. In 1957 he arrived in Mexico City, performing immediately on stellar programs of the XEW and on television. In 1971 he appeared in Guatemala with the Symphony of Guatemala and in Mexico he has performed with the Symphony of UNAM, Durango, Guanajuato, etc. Performing the Concerto for Accordion and Orchestra by Nikolay Chaikin and the Concerto in La minor by Pietro Deiro. His Recitals and concerts throughout the Mexican Republic, have cemented a credit worthy of International Artist, performing classical, semi-classical, modern music and arrangements of popular court.
Unfortunately Aldo Rizzardi passed away on January 7, 1999, a man of great sensitivity that leaves a great mark through his music, his compositions, his arrangements, but above all the great love he sowed and left in so many people who knew him . Aldo Rizzardi lived fully. Aldo Rizzardi rests in peace.
