For their latest classic reggae reissue, Greensleeves have gathered together two vintage albums in one tasty package. The first half of the CD focuses on Sylford Walker's Lamb's Bread, a dub era roots reggae set recorded at King Tubby's Studio. Tubby's infamous mixing skills come to the fore, with Walker singing over some of the producer's most on-point backing tracks. On the second half of the disc, you'll find Welton Irie's Ghettoman Corner, which features the mic man toasting in thick patois over many of the same riddims as used on Walker's set. It too was recorded at King Tubby's. Interestingly, the great man didn't mix this one, despite its heavy dub vibe.
