This previously unreleased album includes the songs Greatest Gifts From Heaven, Kansas City Blues and Vamp In C

Band lineup includes rock and blues luminaries, including Barry Goldberg (piano, organ), Nick Gravenites (vocals, guitar) and Mark Naftalin (keyboard)

Recorded by legendary producer Norman Dayron (who has produced albums for Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Paul Butterfield and others)

Mike Bloomfield was one of America’s greatest artists of the ’60s—’70s; their country’s answer to Eric Clapton. A skilled guitarist, arranger and writer, Bloomfield popularized his blues heroes’ tunes to an unaware teen audience so they could hear where rock ‘n' roll’s roots originated. Many years after his death, Bloomfield still exerts a gravitational pull over anyone who heard his ground breaking blend of blues-rock guitar power and modal improvisation.

The Old Waldorf was a music venue located in San Francisco, California. The famous club was located at 444 Battery Street and was originally opened by Jeffrey Pollack in 1976 before selling it to Bill Graham who closed it in 1983. During its time, the Old Waldorf hosted some of the biggest names in the music industry, including AC/DC, Blue Öyster Cult, Iggy Pop, Rory Gallagher, Metallica, Pat Benatar, R.E.M., Spirit, Poco, U2 and Dead Kennedys’ John Cougar.
