DANN KAM LUCY (THEN CAME LUCY), a horses drama made for television, was composed by award winning composer Marcel Barsotti. Marcel Barsotti is a German film- & advertising composer. From 1982 - 1988 he studied composition, piano and clarinet at the Conservatory of Munich (Germany) and in the studios of film composer Harold Faltermeyer. During these years he worked with famous directors and producers like Sönke Wortmann, Günter Rohrbach, Caroline Link, Luc Besson-Production, Carl Schenkel, Anno Saul, Josée Dayan, Eberhard Junkersdorf, Paul Hills and Hark Bohm. Since 1995 Barsotti has composed the scores for more than 80 national and international movies & commercials such as “Pope Joan“ „ The Miracle of Bern“ “Jesus Loves Me” „Deutschland. Ein Sommermärchen“ „The Seawolf“ „The Bible Code“ „Rennschwein Rudi Rüssel 2“ „Kebab Connection“ or „The Poet“. In 2017 Marcel Barsotti was nominated for the German music author‘s award (Deutscher Musikautorenpreis). In 2010 Barsotti received the German Record Critics` Award and the Director’s Choice Gold Medal for Excellence for “Pope Joan” by the Park City Filmmusic Festival in Utah. He was nominated in 2010 by the Verband der Deutschen Filmkritik and by The Score of the Year 2009 in Suisse for „Pope Joan“. In 2004 Barsotti got three nominations by the German Television Award and he won the Award for best Commercial 2005 for “Credit Suisse”.
