Of the Area Code (212) I know little or nothing. Probably one of those groups created in recording studios to exploit success in full disco era. On Discos the producer, Joe Castellon, is numbered among the members of Hokis Pokis, a soul / disco band of the mid-70s. However, if you go to see the Hokis Pokis site (hokispokis), you can't find it among the members. Appears only in the first recordings as a producer and arranger. This is a classic "disco" album. I remember the use of Gaz-O-Lean in the dj sets. Good also Manhattan Shuffle track.
