-Kieran White was one of those rare, almost unique, voices that you couldn't imagine anyone imitating. Deep, throaty, almost hoarse at times, he probably sat somewhere between Jimmy Witherspoon and Chris Youlden, although never quite in their league. What is often forgotten about is the fact that Kieran was an accomplished musician and a fine songwriter - who doesn't know Junior's Wailing? While this solo effort doesn't have the impact of the more in-your-face Steamhammer tracks, it is consistently listenable, and demonstrates what a versatile performer he was. Sadly, this was his only solo album, and he ended up as a truck driver in the USA until he died of cancer at a relatively young age. His kind of talent doesn't seem to exist much nowadays, and the music business is all the worse for that.

-The only solo album of the former vocalist "Steamhammer" and "Nucleus". Then he emigrated to the States and settled himself as a truck driver, settling in Oregon. He died of cancer in March 1995.
