THE BLACKSTONES – Got What It Takes is the second collaboration with DILLIE of STINGRAY RECORDS. Mellow MOOD the previous LP was considered for a Grammy Award in 2018.
Since then THE BLACKSTONES have been working with Dillie on a new album due for released on STINGRAY RECORD’S Online & hard copy CD end of November 2019, titled “Got What It Takes”

THE BLACKSTONES have been at the forefront of the British reggae scene since their formation in 1974
Curtis Mayfield invited THE BLACKSTONES to support him on a European tour
THE BLACKSTONES are the only UK artist to record at Studio One in Jamaica with the legendary producer CLEMENT SIR COXSON DODD.
THE BLACKSTONES have worked with many of reggae’s legendary producers: Lloyd Charmers, Phil Pratt, Lindel Lewis, Bunny Lee, Coxsone Dodd, Hal Shaper, Tony Owens, Antonio Phillips
