LONGBOARD plays with notions of minimalism, coolness too. Curves and lines proceed a hedonistic approach, a desire for aestheticism that combines great landscapes, intense action and freedom. To celebrate this alternative sport closely linked to the visual arts and music, LONGBOARD enriches its musical production thanks to the note books, drawings, photos, texts, videos, products of our travels and our meetings. LONGBOARD travels and settles anywhere. A drummer who plays the guitar and tinkers with samplers, two saxophonists who move from clarinets to keyboards, three composers who bang their musical worlds: on stage, the sound of the band is constantly changing, and their playing constantly adapting to the route taken. Pleasures of gliding, fluidity. But also speed and risk taking.

From an urban punk to a love song, from a black film of Yakuzas to a documentary on the aquatic world: relax, these are the nomadic joys. We ride the van, we listen through the window, and already we are elsewhere.
