Sunny Cowgirls - Happy Days (2019)

Sunny Cowgirls last released new music in 2016, their eighth album No Way Out. No doubt the time since has been well filled, as both Sunny sisters, Sophie and Celeste, have other commitments – and they no longer live in the same part of Australia. The acoustic EP will feature two new songs as well as versions of some of their hits and a cover of Lee Kernaghan’s ‘Hat Town’. Sunny Cowgirls have always written great lyrics about their life on the land, which is part of why they’ve been so popular with country music audiences – who will, no doubt, be happy to hear this new song. It is a toe-tapper in the Sunny Cowgirls tradition and will hopefully accompany the sound of real rainfall in the not-too-distant future, as many of the band’s fans wait for raining pineapples of their own.
