Hi I'm Sam Slick and this is my debut full length album! I recorded this song mostly in Los Angeles, with a bunch of friends over a whole bunch of sessions, and in Boston, with a different bunch of friends over a few sessions. Hopefully the album doesn't sound too fragmented to you! My songs wander from older folk to driving indie rock, without getting too stuck in either camp. I'll leave the interpretation of the songs' meanings to you, dear listener, though perspectives usually come from my experience and shift from the personal to the global.
