Aili Ikonen and Jukka Perko Avara released together an album Laulu Keskeneräinen. Album consists of evergreens from 1960s with Finnish lyrics by Hector.

Laulu Keskeneräinen is a first album made in co-operation by Aili Ikonen and Jukka Perko Avara. The album is inspired by handprints of legendary songwriters from 1960s. Nostalgic tunes get a new life in the album with Finnish lyrics by pop-lyricist Hector. Album consists songs of many composers and singer-songwriters, such as Michel Legrand, Burt Bacharach, Randy Newman and Joni Mitchell. The translator Hector was especially inspired by the most known interpretations of Dusty Springfield. In addition to Hector´s lyrics, couple of songs are translated by Timo Kiiskinen and Reino Bäckman.

Laulu Keskeneräinen brings together two of the most luminous jazz stars in Finland. Aili Ikonen is known for her successful solo career and Rajaton vocal group. She is definitely one of the best jazz vocalists in Finland. Saxophonist Jukka Perko is one of the most known and broad-minded jazz musicians in Finland. He has already done a long and diverse career. The album Laulu Keskeneräinen is joined also by guitarists Teemu Viinikainen and Jarmo Saari.
