As a leader, Rosnes has released twelve recordings, four of which have garnered Juno Awards, the Canadian equivalent of a Grammy. Renee also frequently performs in a two piano setting with her husband Bill Charlap including on his recent collaboration with Tony Bennett, The Silver Lining The Music of Jerome Kern. She is also the host of The Jazz Profiles, an interview series for CBC Radio.

On her new recording Written in the Rocks, a work of extraordinary creative and intellectual ambition, Rosnes features an inspired quintet of frequent collaborators including vibraphonist Steve Nelson, saxophonist/flutist Steve Wilson, bassist Peter Washington and drummer Bill Stewart.
