Tony Williams - Civilization (2014) [Hi-Res]

Tony Williams' 1986 Blue Note release. This is Williams' debut record with his hard bop jazz quintet comprised of saxophonist Billy Pierce, trumpeter Wallace Roney, pianist Mulgrew Miller and bassist Charnett Moffett. Civilization features originals by Williams that heavily feature commanding drums, on the album the rest of the quintet plays to keep up with the vivacious drummer.
