Sergio di Finizio - Clessidra (2019)

After many years as a bassist, composer and arranger in many and different musical projects and as accompanist of various artists, Sergio Di Finizio brings together some of his compositions, arranged and produced by himself, "Clessidra" (Time Record, 2019), his first record as the main artist. A work that shows the different artistic facets of its author: as a bassist, composer and producer; and that covers different styles ranging from flamenco to jazz, from funk to environmental music.

In the 9 tracks that make up the disc, different instruments can be heard: more typical of jazz such as saxophones or trumpets, but also others directly related to flamenco, such as Spanish guitar, drawer or palms, and somehow less usual like marimba and vibraphone, or ethnic percussions like daf or Rikk. All at the service of the compositions and the bass as a thread.
